Donate to projects close to your heart

The Good Exchange makes sure that causes and projects that need support are connected with all available sources of funding. That means that local business, fundraisers, donors and members of the public are joining forces with charitable trusts and foundations to make a real difference in local communities.

You don’t need to be a grant-giving organisation to support projects on The Good Exchange. Support from individuals and local business is vital too.

Search or browse through the projects that are active and seeking support. See who else is involved. Once you have found a project you want to support, donating is straightforward and unlike general fundraising you can see the impact of your help once the project you have supported is completed.

Donate instantly online

You can make donations with a debit or credit card. Donors will soon be able to donate using a mobile payments app through Barclays Pingit and make donations on other payment platforms such as Paypal. Larger sums may be donated using other payment methods such as online banking. You can also leave comments or messages of support for a project.

Gift Aid

The Good Exchange will claim Gift Aid on behalf of the eligible charitable organisations you want to support on the platform.

Gift Aid is a UK tax incentive that enables tax-effective giving by individuals to charities in the United Kingdom. Making a Gift Aid declaration means charities and community amateur sports clubs (CASCs) can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give.

It won’t cost you any extra and The Good Exchange will provide you with a receipt for your tax return.
